The Academy establishes another department!

call centar pocetak webZagreb, 3rd of September 2014 – During the twelfth session of the Presidency of the CPP in the term 2013 to 2016, held in July in Resort Tuhelj, a decision was made to add one more department, the CPP's Call Centre, to the Political Academy. With its newest addition, the Academy now has seven departments.

 

 

 

The main task of the Seventh Department, the CPP's Call Centre, is to maintain contact and directly communicate with members and sympathisers of the CPP, as well as with the general public. In the near future, the Call Centre will also be tasked with conducting various opinion polls.

The Academy's Departments:

1. Department for Additional Education of the CPP's Elected Representative in the Regional and Local Government – more than 70 lecturers work within the department. Their role is to participate in seminars which are held in Zagreb every month and then pass on the knowledge and skills they learn within their county organizations ("training for trainers" scheme);

2. Department for Additional Education in General Politics – within this department, roundtables and public forums are regularly organized in different parts of Croatia to discuss various public policies.

3. Department for Additional Education and Organizational Strengthening of the Party – this department is focused on strengthening the party organization by holding meetings on party activities and through teambuilding events.

4. Department for Special Programs – department works with the CPP's youth and women's initiatives and maintains international relations with foreign organizations. It is this department which organizes seminars for CPP officials in cooperation with the Academy's foreign partners.

5. Department for the Public – in 2011, the Academy opened its doors to the public by establishing its Fifth Department. The Council of the Fifth Department was also established as an independent governing body, which would be tasked with communicating liberal ideas to the public. Coordinator of the Council is Mr. Davor Gjenero, while its members are prof. dr. sc. Vesna Pusić, prof. dr. sc. Andrea Zlatar Violić, Mr. Slavko Goldstein, prof. dr. sc. Zdravko Petak and prof. dr. sc. Darko Polšek;

6. Department of Publishing – over the years, the Academy collected a large number of lecture material which are offered to the public through brochures, manuals and catalogues;

7. Call-centre – the Academy's Call-centre is responsible for contacting party members and sympathisers of the CPP. Call-centre also conducts various opinion polls.
