Karlovačka organization about projects in local and regional government

Karlovac, 15th October 2014. - Within the 1st Department of the Academy for further education of CPP's elected representatives in local and regional government, in Karlovac a seminar about the importance of development projects in counties, cities and municipalities was held.

Dean Žabčić, president of CPP's Karlovačka county organization held an introduction into the topic, and Pavao Škaljac as the teacher of the Academy spoke about the topic.

The seminar was based on planning, preparation and implementation of strategic development projects of counties, cities and municipalities through the use of EU funds,but also on strategic planning as a basis for the preparation of projects.

Škaljac based his lecture on European structural and investment funds and opportunities how to direct investments from these funds and implement them into thematic goals in the period from 2014. to 2020., all based on the lecture of Vedran Kružić, Assistant Minister of Economy for Trade and Internal Market, that was held in Zagreb. Also, accent was placed on energy efficiency projects. On these topic CPP's Karlovačka county organization will hold the press conference at the end of October, wich will be attended by Boris Blažeković, the head of the Academy and CPP's MP.
